Why does the microwave have it's name

hello, my name is Alex and I've figured out why you call a microwave a microwave.
The reason the microwave has it's name, is because it sends out micro heat waves to whatever you have put in there.

Hello, my names, Alex and this is my dog, kayla. She is six months old, and her breed is a mix of red border collie and siberian huskey. She knows how to sit and lie down, and she is quite playful. Here is some thing Mum and Dad get angry at: She sleeps on their bed, but thats not the problem: what I mean by that is that she will start to growl and bite if you try to get her off. Also, she knows what walk means, so when we discuss the walk plans, we have to say: w a l k.

getting my vortex back

A week or so ago, I lost my vortex over the fence (my Dad trough it to high on accident, and it got cought in a bush). Today, my Dad got a (fishing) rod, and taped a small garden fork to the end of it. Afterword, my Dad went to the fence and used the rod to grab the vortex, but it fell to the ground. Dad got disappointed, but after we spoted it in the bushes bellow. After a few desperate attempts he got it back nice and carefully.

math buddy.

For this task, I've done all my Math buddy tasks, for this week, in a few hours. And it was quite hard for the equivalent frations part, but, other than that, it was quite good for my brain.

pobble (on dec 5th, Night Quest)

The men set off to find refuge on another island with plenty of food and other supplies (water and clothes) to last them two months. They didn’t know how long it would take to get to the new island, but knew they would need supplies to last much longer.

When they got a quarter of the way there, they had one full basket of food and only six litres of water. Then half way they had no food and three bottles of water.

They paddled a little further and found a small island, and on that island, there were sticks and stones to make some spears. They went hunting and found one cow, two pigs and three sheep. With the animals they killed, they made clothes and baskets, then they put the food in the basket.

They then went to find more  sticks and stones, to build a pickaxe or a hut. They decided to make a hut because of how much they found. Then, after a night in the jungle, they went to collect some clay, to mold and fire some bottles, for more water (hopefully).

They did not find any clay, however they did manage to somehow  find enough iron and flat stones to make a pickaxe. They went mining because they thought of getting diamonds and other materials to make glue and some diamond buckets so they could carry lava (or obsidian buckets.)

They somehow did it, and got obsidian and glue. When they got to the surface, they went back to base, to glue and shape the obsidian into two buckets. 

Once they had the buckets they went to where they were mining with their buckets to collect some lava. When they got to the end of their mining tunnel, they heard lava so they started to mine slowly. They felt hot, so they slowed down even more. Then, after a few steps forward the rocks crumbled into a cave full of lava!!

Back at base, they found out that there were some vines right above the base roof. Luckily for them, they made their base strong enough to support one full human. They sent the skinniest one, just to be safe. Once they had the vines, they tied the boat together for it to be stronger.

“Can you believe we did that!” Anil remarked. “We successfully managed to find food, water, and lava, for when the boat either has a leak, or can not go any further.” Anil was pleased. “Now to find that new land we were hoping for.” “we just left the new land,” Kile said, spoiling the surprise.

“No, that land was discovered a long time ago,” exclaimed Jeff. 

“How do you know?” asked Anil.

Jeff replied, “ A place called Russia discovered the island. The people they sent there died! I saw their note and bodies on the way out.” 

“How could I have been so dumb?” moaned Anil.

On their journey, they came across a shipwreck. They went to investigate and loot it, but all they found was three swords.

Then soon after, they came across another (unfound) island. But the island had a storm that they had to go through, but they used their lava buckets from earlier to get to the island.

Once they were on the island, they found refuge and called this island New Zealand (NZ for short).
